Should I be clearer?
Can you hear me?
Should I be simpler?
Can you hear me?
Should I be louder?
Do you hear me?
Do you?
Do you want to?
I do not speak into a void, although most times it may feel that way.
Most times, shouting into the void.
I feel I need have to.
I have a voice, as I should, not may.
I speak, not because I want to, because I have something to say.
Don’t walk, don’t talk, don’t have a say.
Gone are those days, now I am here to stay.
I will walk my talk and fight my fight.
I will pave my path if you won’t give me the right.
A right of speech, a right of way.
No longer do I need want to ask, “If I may?”
You can choose to hear me, if you may.
Because you can hear me, wouldn’t you say?
